1852 – James Shaw, brick and tile maker, West Bridge End, Dumbarton.
15/11/1853 – Greenock Advertiser – Deaths. At Bellfield House, Dumbarton on the 9th instant, Johnann, aged 3 years and 1 month and John aged 1 year and 3 months, youngest daughter and only son of Mr James Shaw, brick and tile maker. (Note – SBH – I am uncertain if this is the same James Shaw but I have included the reference here to ensure it is not missed).
