17/01/1828 – Perthshire Courier – To brickmakers. The property of the community of Perth to be let. There will be let by public roup, within the burgh courtroom of Perth, on Monday the 11th day of February next, at one o’clock afternoon. The North half of that garden presently occupied by George McIntosh, situated on the Glasgow Road commonly known by the name of the Cow Causeway Garden, for the purposes of brickmaking and that for the space of 10 years with entry immediately. The articles of roup will be seen by application to John Miller or Alexander Mackenzie, city clerks. Perth 17th Jan. 1828.
