Drumsargard Tileworks, Blantyre, South Lanarkshire.
1858 – 1861 – Scotlandsplaces.gov.uk – Drumsargard Tileworks – D. Gardiner, factor and John Smith, manager. A number of brick sheds and a kiln for baking tiles used for draining. The property of His Grace the Duke of Hamilton. This name- “Drumsargard” has always been retained for the lands about the tileworks.
Below – 1859 – Drumsargard Tileworks, Blantyre. By 1896 the tileworks appear to have been abandoned.
