Found at the site of the old Bonnyside Brickworks, Bonnybridge.
These have been shown here for interest sake. These are the length and width of a ‘normal’ brick but they are only 1/2″ deep. They are known as splits.
They are not stamped but are very likely to have been manufactured at Bonnyside Brickworks.
This group of 6 appear to have fused together when fired.

Found by Reuben Bartolo in a fireplace in Mosta, Malta. Reuben states – The building itself is from the 1500s, I would guess the fireplace is around 1950s. The bricks were between the limestone blocks, behind the fireplace itself.
