These bricks were likely made by the Greenhill Fireclay Company, Bonnybridge rather than the earlier Greenhill Fireclay Works at the same site.

Found on the old James Dougall site at Bonnyside. Clayknowes Brickworks, Greenhill, Bonnybridge. This version has letters with serifs. Found at an unknown location in Scotland and kindly donated by Nick Basden. Sanquhar Brick and Tile Works, Sanquhar, Dumfriesshire. This is a miniature baby brick. It is also a ‘stop end’ brick. . . . . Below – A similar sized brick without the ‘stop end’. This was found by Joan Faithfull.
