These bricks were found in an area with identical shaped, coloured and style bricks and all with the brickmark on the sidewall …Cleve and Regenn

This W W is a very similar brick and was found nearby

A ‘sister’ brick Penwyllt also found at Newmains, Morningside, North Lanarkshire.

    Found Darnley, Glasgow Unidentified maker. Find location would suggest Scottish origins but… It was found nearby several bricks marked Gwersyll which is a confirmed Welsh brick. Both the G and the Gwersyll examples are marked on the side of the brick. The were also several Stein Bluebell bricks lying nearby. All have the same physical…
