Found by Ian Suddaby at Guardbridge
An unusual bricks marked HGE but if you look closely you can just make out faint letters on either side of the HGE spelling out Lochgelly.
Any ideas why it should be marked this way other than a malfunctioning stamp!

Little seems to be available on the internet regarding the actual Lumphinnans Brickworks which were situated adjacent to the ironworks.
