Found by Eddie Mclean in Glasgow. Unidentified maker but almost certainly Scottish but which one of the following Glasgow ‘McIntyre’ brick manufacturers is it … John McIntyre Andrew McIntyre or Hugh McIntyre or someone else!

Blackfalls Brickworks, Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire. (Note – SBH – Blackfalls could actually be Blackfaulds. Either way, I cannot find the works referred to on a map). 1595 – … On the South-Side, there were the Shawfield claypits which at one time belonged to Sheriff Allison. Found the Firth of Clyde, Glasgow Mclntyre & Co., brickmakers, Toryglen, near Mallsmire, Glasgow. Hugh McIntyre, Brick Maker, Blackfalls, Rutherglen. House, 139 Allison Street, Govanhill. However, I cannot find a reference as yet to the Holmpark area . .
