Millhouse Tileworks, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire
Below – 17/02/1849 – Glasgow Gazette – Reference to the sale of Millhouse Farm and there being a tilework on the property. William Lyon, proprietor. (Note – SBH – Could this be the same William Lyon that operated the Camlachie Brick and Tile Worksat this same period of time?)
Below – 1857 – Millhouse Farm. The Millhouse Tileworks were probably located in this area but I cannot see them on any map so they were perhaps disused by c. 1857.
