Mystery bricks which may be related – Midlothian

Ian states –
There a number of mystery bricks in the North Esk Valley between Penicuik and Dalkeith, Midlothian and these are some of them. They’re mined clay-shale and are similar to Whitehill and some Arniston bricks.
There’s L/P K,
K with a big dot,
K big dot with a reversed 2.
So K is the common letter but is this the owner or what?
