Scotland's Brick and Tile Manufacturing Industry

Found on the site of the old Jenny Lind Brickworks site near to the old Ravenscraig Steel Works site.

Not sure at all what this says. Possibly ‘S0N’

The ‘S’ is similar to the British Steel logo?

The middle ‘o’ may simply be part of the stamp structure – screw head? This is a dense heavy brick.

It appears the mark is written top to bottom rather than the normal left to right.

Unknown manufacturer. Find location would suggest Scottish origins but…..

Any ideas?
