Found by George Kennedy in the Carluke area. I am not in possession of this example. It is stamped with a ‘4’ to one end and it is approx 10″ long. The brick is broken so its exact true shape is unknown. Lee Terra Cotta Works, Braidwood, Carluke, Lanarkshire. . .    

Found at the old Lee/Scottish Terracotta Brick Works site, Carluke The maker is unknown. Find location would suggest Scottish origins but … it is however very likely these were manufactured on site.
