Terregles Brick and Tile Works, Terregles, Kirkcudbrightshire
1848 – 1851 – ScotlandsPlaces – A tolerable large brick &. tile works but principally for the manufacture of tiles. The number of hands employed are generally 15 or 16 during the season. It is the property of M. C. Maxwell Esqr of Terregles.

25/02/1852 – Dumfries and Galloway Standard – Reference to a boy who saved a young girl from drowning. The boy’s father, Patrick Hanlon was employed at the Terregles Tileworks.
13/06/1855 – Dumfries and Galloway Standard – The Terregles Tileworks are mentioned with regard to a gig accident on the road outside the works.
